Accessibility

We want the AuraMed website to be usable by everyone, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, zoom or reduced motion.

Last reviewed: 23 October 2026.

What we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA on this website. This is an aim, not a certification: the website has not had a formal, independent accessibility audit.

How we check

Website changes are checked with automated accessibility tests (axe-core) and by keyboard. We look for a skip link on every page, a visible focus ring, a logical tab order, labelled buttons, and text that reflows on a narrow screen without sideways scrolling.

The home, plans and story pages follow your device’s reduced-motion setting, and their Pause motion control stops the animation.

What is not right yet

  • The website is in English only. The app is also in French, Spanish and Portuguese.
  • The privacy, terms and consumer health data pages do not yet mark their main content as a landmark for screen readers.
  • On the learning, sources, disclaimer and data deletion pages, some header and footer links are smaller than 24 pixels tall.
  • On the home page, keyboard focus on “How it works” can sit below the visible screen for a moment.

These are on our list to fix.

Tell us about a problem

If something on the website or in the app is hard to use, email mail@getauramed.com. Say which page or screen, what you were trying to do, and the device or assistive technology you use, if you are comfortable sharing it.

Please do not include personal health information. It is not needed to describe the problem.
